Hello, everyone, and thanks in advance for helping me with a few issues I have.
First, I have been doing a lot of salvaging, and have all of these unstacked bags of different (and even teh same quality) is it possible to stack up all of my granite(leather, copper, etc etc) bags? I am just plain out of room! In the help post in the game it tells me they stack and average the quality, which is fine as long as they stack, but drag and drop just isn't working for me.
Any help?

You combine bags of salvage using the ust. There is a character option that allows you to process multiple types of salvage at the same time.
When you combine salvage any overage is lost. So if you combine a 98 unit work 4 bag of iron with a 78 unit work 5 bag of iron, you get a 100 unit work 4.nnn bag of iron.
The value adds when you combine bags so it a good way to conserve space if you plan to sell the salvage to a vendor for pyreal. I like to extact every available pyreal from the loot that I find hunting. So I render most stuff into salvage to compact it.
You do not have to keep your salvage pure. There is no reason to keep multiple bags for imbue salvage (e.g. red garnet). Just combine it all together. For other salvage like steel you can reduce it 1-6, 7-8, 9, 10 (four bags). How you do this for salvage like brass, steel, iron, hog, and so on is personal choice.

Great, and thanks! It worked like a charm.
Actually, I was planning on tinkering up my weapons a bit, maybe, try to get the value of my best gear down with cedar or get my main weapon pumped up a bit.
I guess I'll decide about that after the first attempt and how that goes.
Another question:
I found the pathwarden, and got access to that chest, and the armor inside (wish I had it when I was level 5 instead of 9, I have some pieces now that are better) can I put stuff in the chest and store it safely? Or is that not the intended function? Also, where can I safely stash money or items before I get an apartment? That's really an important part right there, since all teh trade notes I can find (Vs) burden me down and I need to save up money in no drop form or put it in a bank.

You cannot use the pathwarden chest for storage.
There is no real way to stash your money and items until you get some housing, unless you use drop muling (find a remote location, drop your stuff and log in another character to hold it.) I don't recommend that, as too many things could go wrong and you would end up losing everything you dropped.
You can also think about joining an allegiance and/or find someone you trust that could hold some of your things while you log in another character.
Let us know what server you are a on, and I am sure someone will step up to help you. :)

You can stack trade notes up to 100 deep. If you are getting burdened with all those little trade notes, what you will need to do is sell them all to a vendor. You can then buy a larger note (C, D and all the way up to MMD).

I use a decal (http://decaldev.com) plugin called Alinco (http://www.rindi.nl/alinco/). It will automatically salvage everything for you so you don't have to waste your time. Very smart plugin.
