After 3 years returning...

Hey, my brother and I are returning after being off AC for nearly 3 years. We have our new account and have the game downloaded and everything. I plan on playing Solclaim and my brother will be playing Morningthaw. However we are having trouble getting into it. Everytime I try to log into Solclaim or any of the worlds I get a "fatal directx error" and it says to try changing the bit depth or screen resolution. It also suggests updating the video drivers.

Any suggestions?

What kind of video card do you have?

Your video card is probably too old for AC. You need a card that is DirectX 9 hardware compliant.

This is her brother.....and I play on HG btw.

The game works fine on my dad's comp.

The comp we use is fine but it didn't have a great video card. Problem is fixed though.....just needed a better video card.

You should be aware that it is most likely going to be impossible for yout to play both servers at one time with only one account.

A few years ago they changed it so one server per account could log in at a time. Not sure if its still that way but I think it is ?
