Can I play free trial with my old account?

I say old it's very old, think it's been about 3 years since I last played so all the information may have been deleted, anyway trying the free trial so wondered if it was possible to play with my old account.

Nope. The free trial only allows you to start a new empty account. Otherwise, people would abuse the free trial to play AC with their main account forever without paying.

You also might try just calling them. Some folks have reported very speedy migrations via the phone.

i migrated 2 accounts from the old game zone days. no problem at all, but about 3 days.

you need your old account name, a toon name on the account, and which server toon is on.

they check it out and say they found it.

you then sign up for a new account.

and they move the info over to the new account.

There has only been one account purge in the history of AC. That was more than five years ago. So your account is still around. You can get it back if you can give Turbine the information they need to recover the account and twenty dollars. The twenty dollars is only payable if they recover the account and includes 30 days of play. So the migration / recovery has a real cost of about seven dollars.

They need the Microsoft account name (msn gaming zone nickname). If you do not know your nickname, Turbine may be able to find it via some other Microsoft account info. You would have to ask Turbine about this possibility.
