I have a question about this. I have run the quests and it sais i must wait 15 days before i can purchase this house?!?! I am going to stay on this account so can i just pay for the account now so i can get my house?
Also if the free trial is a true representation of what the purchased account will get why can i not get a cottage in those 14 days before it expires?

Also if the free trial is a true representation of what the purchased account will get why can i not get a cottage in those 14 days before it expires?Any character can pay the maintenance for any owned housing unit. For example, I can pay your rent. The 15 day rule is to prevent a person from creating a dozen free trial accounts and then buying all the cottages in a community without paying any real money.
The 15 day rule is for all accounts because the type of account information is only kept on the billing server. The AC software can not check it.
Each world does not know how old your account is either. The billing server does not send that information either. What is know is when you created your character on that world. So if you never created a character on Darktide then the 15 day clock has not started yet. So if you are planning on staying. You might want to create a character on every world.
