Ive decided to come back after a long break.. (Played Since 2000-2006 on Darktide).. Has the game changed much since around the early 2006?

Well here's a quickie if you meant has it changed pvp wise

Melees>Mages or Archers, but if you're a good mage you can keep up. Archers are the weakest class IG now and pose little threat vs. melees. Otherwise it's pretty much the same except new content like quests, etc =P

I was pretty decent before I took a break with my 126+ Mage.. I think ill stay with my mage though..
