Most populated servers/avoiding gimpage.

I'm an old school player and I don't really recollect much of anything concerning stats. I'm really not that concerned with how my skills are allocated, I think I can manage that correctly, but I feel a bit overwhelmed with stats since they are rather permanent.

I'll probably be a specced fighter with 3 schools of magic. That's as precise of information you have to go on (no war).

Also, what's the most populated white server? Going to play on DT and one of the popular white servers.

I made this quick and to the point because I accidentally deleted all my other crap on accident by pressing back on the browser.

I used to play HG 99-01 ish.

Leafcull is a popular server, we are the first ones to complete the coliseum and the new asherons guardian quest. both in a row. now thats good stuff..

Frostfell is also a highly populated white server.


If you're gonna be a melee fighter with 3 schools, then you have to go UA. It's the most efficient use of skill credits if you pick a sho race character. You'll be amazed at how hard UA hits nowadays... I would go 100 STR, 100 COORD, 100 FOCUS... then you can augment another stat 50 points with augmentation gems... like END or QUICK.

If you decide to go to Frostfell, look me up on Masta Mage Og, Elluwak Meteu or Aceswild. I'll help you get up to speed quick, I've gotten pretty quick at leveling rerolls on a white server.

The population numbers on the white servers are more or less the same. No real big differences between them exept for VT. However even there are some active monarchies having fun.
More important is to find a good and active monarchy. There is where you meet people and where activities are started. On Solclaim we have a good number in population and some outstanding clans. attributes can be changed with the quest, so anything can get fixed/massaged in time. which type of fighter can also be changed.

with buff bot availabilities of the game today (2 hours on the high level ones) are you sure you want 3 school, or just 2 and leave critter to the bots to handle. leave critter for last. since bots are a part of the game you might as well use them to advantage.

you said fighter with 3 school, not mage with a weapon. 100 on strength and coord for sure, but 100 in quick or maybe 70 quick and 30 endurance will have you living/fighting better in the early days. 100 in focus can be switched to in later levels.

the white servers seem to be all the same, low population for sure. it is VERY IMPORTANT to find a good/active monarchy. a damn near dead monarchy will have you lacking in high level quests/rewards.

Why would I do any more than 10 END?

10 END has always worked well for me in the past.



And also, I don't use buffbots.

I'm also a big solo guy. Not big on multiperson quests. If I was, I'd play EQ or WoW.

Depending on your type of char endurance can be a bit more then 10, but as melee 10 endurance works fine for me.

Even in a clan you can go your own way. We have several players who like solo play more then group hunting. However some targets can't be reached without the help of others. Being in a clan, help is easier to find to achieve these coals.

Well, everyone is going to say their server is the best. All I can say is, solclaim has its good and bad But usually the good outdo the bad, for the most part. Also, SC is somewhat backwards discerning how other servers work. If you dont like the norm, come to SC. It's really up to you. If you do come to SC, msg someone in the red fez guild :) we've been having a large surplus of members lately and are growing.
