Greetings,

I have a problem that I submitted a bug report on, I took my tinker to get his saved collection of Augment gems charged for Oswalds enchantment, Cord but ran into a problem with it.

He had a almost full main pack, only 2 slots open when I started which I didn't really pay attention to at the time. I was handing Fiun Bayaas the blank gems to charge for me from a side pack, had about 7 of them. When I got done I saw that I only had 2 charged gems in my main pack, and none in my side packs.

When I read back in the chat log I saw that what was happening was he said that after the first 2, he Tries to give you the gem. So I lost 5 gems, 5 months of Sir Bellas runs...

This has to be a bug, most vendors will not take something if they can't give it back to you, or it should have gone in the side packs like everything else seems to these days...

Looking to get the gems replaced of course and this dynamic fixed so it doesn't get anyone else.

This is the way AC has always worked. There are two basic interactions:

1) A vendor. They open trade windows and the transaction can not be completed if your main pack does not have enough slots

2) A general NPC. The do not open a trade window. You give the NPC an item. The NPC then goes through her script and gives you items as a reward. In this case, you must make sure you have adequate space in your main pack. If there is not enough space, the NPC will just go to the next step in the script and you will just lose out.

You also need to make sure you do not turn, emote, cast a spell or move in way. If you are moving, you are busy and the NPC will fail in the give and move to the next step in the script.

I suggest you private message Frelorn and see if there is anything that he can do for you.

I feel for you. Good luck with your appeal to Frelorn.
