Hello,
I am really enjoying AC again, but am having trouble finding quests. Is there a quest guide or something that can help guide me. Im only lvl 14 and would like to find something around my level if possible. I dont just wanna hunt all the time. Thanks.

Several sources:

In-game, you can find the latest info (clues really) by talking to Town Criers. Disregard their money grubbing tendencies, they'll tell you stuff for free too just keep dbl clicking.

Bartenders also sell rumors and they vary as to specificity. You may also just talk to various NPCs and see if they tell you anything interesting.

Spoiler/Info sites:

http://cod.warcry.com/ Crossroads of Dereth, Warcry - good write ups, not so much detail you need to worry about loosing the fun, unless you choose to view the spoilers.

http://acvault.ign.com/ AC Vault forums prolly the most active of all the sites, very good write ups generally

http://thejackcat.com <- very best search function of all the sites, info is very spoilerish but good when you're stuck, on a familiar quest but not sure of all details. Not quite as kept up as the other two now (Maggie had a vassal IRL! ie baby) but still the mainstay

http://www.thejackcat.com/AC/hobbies/Quests.htm <- convenient list I use a lot

http://acheaven.buwahaha.com/ Sucamarto's not a quest guide type place but now carrying news as well as decal plugin reviews and links

http://dumbledore.kerris.com/ac/xpcalc/index.php <- Quest Calc This is nice when you're looking to organize xp quests

For your level, some things you can do just off the top of my head, are Sword of Lost Light (even if you don't need a sword, it's still one the best epic quests in game), Elysa's Favor (you may need 1 more level and need to be very careful solo, it's been a bit since I've done this one), Three Towers (Aka - skull of the high acoloyte) leadin for Focusing stone, which is 14+ but requires lockpick, the skull from 3Ts, and either an extra body or a lot of speed which can be difficult right at 14 unfortunately.

There's the several quest near Sanamar if you talk to one of the NPCs near the gateway, sorry I can't think of his name =/. Also there's the woman standing near the blue portal inside the town walls. You may also be able to at least start the Brew Kettle quest (gets tough fast though). There are various kill tasks you might be able to do.

Pincer quests you can do are http://www.thejackcat.com/AC/Hobbies/Quests/OlthoiTitles.htm

Abandoned Tumerok Site - 42.0N, 82.2W
Map: Abandoned Tumerok Site
Levels: No restrictions
Olthoi: Olthoi Harvester (Level 15)
Reward: 5,000xp, 5 Treated Healing Kits, C Note, Harvester Token
Title: Bugstomper

Dark Lair - 43.8N, 68.4W
Map: Dark Lair
Levels: No restrictions
Olthoi: Olthoi Gardener (Level 25)
Reward: 25,000xp, 5 Treated Healing Kits, D Note, Ring of Acid Protection, Gardener Token
Title: Gardener Weeder

Crumbling Empyrean Mansion - 46.8N, 67.8W
Map: Crumbling Empyrean Mansion
Levels: all (Plateau is 35+)
Olthoi: Olthoi Worker (Level 53)
Reward: 50,000xp, 2 Treated Healing Kits, D Note (50,000p), Glittering Bracelet of Acid Protection, Worker Token
Title: Worker Obliterator

As you can see they get tough pretty fast; there are also several Tusker Tusk quests you can do (do a search for tusker titles and they should come up). Both are get X item, turn in for XP and various rewards (Gems of Stillness, money an AL Gem for the Tusker ones).

Anyway, by the time you work on some of those you'll probably be in your 20s or so at least. With a little help you might be able to do the 20+ olthoi matron's hive for the raiment (wear under clothing, gives you a couple buffs).

Hopefully that's enough to get you started -- good luck and happy questing!

Thanks for the detailed information. I think one thing that is not as clear as that wow game is how/where to follow the storyline of the quests. Ill have to check out the towns criers/ barkeeps and the links. Thanks.

What site would you recommend to find portal routes. I see the program ac explorer but is there anything else out there, maybe a decal plugin? Thanks.
