Question: What happens if I want to get a multi-month subscription on an account that's currently inactive? As far as I can tell, I'd have to pay the undiscounted one-month fee first before I can do this, as it only seems to work for accounts that are already active.

Is this correct? If so, you might want to re-think this, I probably won't bother if I have to pay the undiscounted rate first.

That is the way I read it too. You must be an active subscriber to take advantage of the offer. That is the way all the offers work for AC.

You can not upgrade an inactive Dark Majesty account to Throne of Destiny and begin playing. The billing system will not let you enter the Throne of Destiny key that you just spent money on. You first have to pay 12.95 to activate your Dark Majesty account. Then you can use your Throne of Destiny key that you paid for to upgrade.

It is just Turbine's method to make more money.
