Cannot delete a trial character?

I have a trial account that I think I am going to keep, I was experimenting with some characters then used up my slots on that server and tried to delete one, it seemed to work except that character still shows up and I cannot reclaim the slot for another new character.

Is this something that the trial account does to prevent some type of game abuse and once the 15th day passes, I can delete test characters and make new different ones, or am I just doing something wrong?

edit: ok I just tried it again, the first time (yesterday) the character's name did not turn red and now it did, so perhaps either I or the server had some sort of glitch earlier, I am assuming now I can wait an hour and the slot will reopen.

Indeed, when you delete a char the name turns red an you have to wait an hour before the slot opens. Anyway with the regular game. I have no experience with the trial in this matter.
