I was there visiting on SC during the event. That was pretty shocking to see 2 pyreal bars sell for 260 points. I think this event also breathed a little life into the Dereth market-bot economy.

General chat was far from empty. And yes, I removed players from the server for using extreme profanity and players whose only intention was to disrupt the event.

Its DT, what, you want events to have safety fence? Thats not the DT way. I mean cmon... you come on DT and ask people to make "drudge sausage pizza"? You're joking right? People always use extreme profanity on darktide, sometimes they spam the chat with it for like 10 - 20 minutes. Its a different server, very different people than the other servers, and thus we should be treated differently and given different rules. Btw, my brother logged on his char after I was banned and nobody said anything in general chat for the 10 minutes he was on, obviously in fear of a certain someone...

You banned people for killing other people on Darktide. You might as well just make Darktide a fully white world.

The DT one was good fun. Blew up 10/10 items and dint win anything. But the MP battle that occurred after for 20 min was a lot of fun. I saw Geneva in general saw lol a few times because bodies were falling. My patron Troy' and I both killed upwards of 30 people using Raven Fury. I killed 3 people with one cast. Was good fun and hope to see it again.

I don't want to make this personal or start a flame, but your post shows me once more I never will come to DT. This has nothing to do with PK, but you may expect from players normal decency.
Most of the players of DT are fine, normal players who like the PK element and will never be insulting. But too many of you shout too loud or have a misplaced status feeling.
Players of DT are not uber, no they are probably good in PK, but does this mean they are allowed to have other standards or to be rude?

Was the live events on other servers as short as it was on DT? It only lasted for 30 minutes I was told.

I was on DT for an hour before I had to log. The event went on for the entire time i was on.

I loved the event on DT, I made both of the tinkering items required and got great rewards for it, including a weapon tink rare and armor tink rare. I only wish I had an olthoi egg so I could have done the food request.

That battle in MP was fun too, and the battle at arwic afterwords.

It is this differences of opinion that Lancelore has with SilentDrainer that helps define the different monarchies on DT.

This is what makes DT so much fun is that we can usually find a group of players who is so opposed to how we think the game should be played that we can enjoy attacking them. It becomes more than just a game or sport, it becomes somewhat personal and that is what makes it fun. :D

While it is true that Darktide houses a different kind of player base and that player base SHOULD be treated differently, I don't think Turbine has the necessary man power to code diapers onto everyone that plays on that server.

It is not my habbit to poke around on DT posts. But if players are insulting to Dev's, you must realize the fun for the Dev's will be gone soon, and other servers will be harmed by it.
