As I'm sure you're all aware, today is the anniversary of the terrorist attack on 9/11/01. I'd like to ask you all to take a moment, and remember the tragic loss of men, women, and children alike. American citizens... British citizens, citizens from all around the world. That such hate can exist in our world is difficult to accept. But we witnessed the raw power of hate on that day. On that day, this nation fell to its knees. On that day, we turned to one another, and helped each other rise back to our feet. On that day, we set aside our differences, and shared a cause. As a nation, together, we prevailed.
All I ask of you is to remember. Remember the victims. Remember the heroes. Remember that compassion prevails over hate.
God Bless America. And God Bless all nations that answered our cry for help.
