Turbine,

Recently I had to purchase a new machine, I had no issue with downloading AC or logging in. However, when I logged in the ground was white, not a snow white, like during certain events. I recalled or ran to a number of different locations which are green most of the time and yet still white. I recalled or ran into dungeons and the textures were correct color.

I have tried a few adjustments in the configuration panel as well as went so far as to install a higher video card which works fine in my old machine when I played AC. Yet the problem still exists!

Anyone have an idea as to what the problem may be? Is this common with Vista?

Thanks in advance!

What kind of Graphics Card? Which Vista are you running?

You did the basics like checking your Direct X installation, updating your graphics drivers, and making sure you have the game set a little lower, correct?

Fresh Direct X Install
Updated Device Driver
Set to lowest setting; and nada!

Turn off Landscape Detail Textures.

It's doing it with my 1650 too.
