Will there ever be Euro friendly live events again?
With that i meen placed on a hour that aint between midnight-5am gmt on a weekday.

Harvestgain- Tuesday, January 8th 9pm EST

Leafcull- Sunday, January 13th 12pm EST

Morningthaw- Friday, January 11th 9pm EST

Solclaim- Thursday, January 10th 9pm EST

Thistledown- Wednesday, January 9th 9pm EST

Verdantine- Saturday, January 12th 3pm EST

Wintersebb- Monday, January 7th 9pm EST

Darktide- Sunday, January 13th 3pm EST


aren't the 3pm times 8-9pm for most of Europe? and the 12pm times are 5-6pm for most of Europe? That seems pretty Euro friendly. And 4 out of the 9 events are at one of those times. That seems pretty generous considering most of the player base is in North America.

I agree with this. I know half my allegiance on SC has been excluded from live events for quite some time now. At least rotate the schedule so that earlier times are on all servers at some point.

Yeah cool, i will just make a char on Dorktide, get slaughtered with my level 5 and have a solo live-event at the lifestone.

Maybe I'll just make one on Verdantine and enjoy the live-event with the other three that play there (hoping it ain't aimed for lvl 150+).

so they should have the event on a weekday at noon or 3 so the majority of the players miss out? come on. They picked Euro friendly times for all the weekend events so Americans and Europeans can attend those. they can't do that for the events on weekdays. ok, they could, but it would be a distaster for the event and way more players would be upset about missing it. sorry your server wasn't randomly picked for the weekend, but its not like they are actively trying to exclude europeans here.

Well, i have not been able to attend a live event (that was sceduled) for OVER a year. Due to them randomly picking Harvestgain to not be on either the weekend nor daytime hours.

This game has never been Euro friendly, and i have learned to live with that, but I do think that we deserve atleast one live event at our time, once in a while.

Its not like we dont pay.

Just cause we are a minority it dont meen we should be neglected.

For 8 years, since Asherons Call was made, there has been extreme neglection of the european playerbase. When the game was made, there was not 1% of the players that where from europe, it was pretty much as many as there was americans. Most of those have quit, Why?
Me beeing selfish cause i want to attend atleast one Event? Yeah, ofcourse.
I, by thinking about the minoritys in the game, am selfish.

But ofcourse.

Majority > Minority. You are in the minority. Choose a game of which you are the majority, or try to be more flexible in your schedule.

That's democracy.

I'm all for respecting minority rights, but only when people are forced in to minority. You chose to play a game in which you are minority. I wouldn't complain if I was playing some European game and all the live events were out of whack for me.

Live events are pointless when 99% of people can't even attend them.

Selfish ???? WE also pay our subscription fees whats so selfish about wanting events that are not in the middle of the night our time ? Who says the rest of the player base has to suffer ??? its quite simple Schedule the events for the weekends at a decent hour for everyone.

That's simply not possible. They schedule events to (hopefully) be available for the largest population of that particular server.

Maybe, if all European players made a group effort to join a server such as Verdantine (or any other server), they might become a large enough influence on said server to justify having a live event that would be comfortable for European servers.

As it is, there's no reason that 200 people should miss out on a live event so that 5 people don't have to stay up late.

We where prommised a European server back in 99, in i think 05 they said that the server would never come.

You're surprised that Turbine lied? Lol.

You're the selfish one for expecting to have rights to attend a live event on YOUR schedule when that schedule clashes with the majority of the player base. Sorry, but that's definition of selfish.

You know the most Euro friendly I've experienced was the Nexus event lol about ohh 6 years ago, which occured at around 11pm GMT.

There are still plenty of european players in this game who have had to fight to stay because turbine couldn't even be bothered to market TOD over here. I think a little appreciation across the pond is about due.

i gotta laugh at the negitive yanks there, yes most of the player base in ac is american BUT u have to consider 100% of all players not just 90% otherwise that 10% will leave and that can prove to be a huge dent in any game company's pocket.

Also im a MT player and thats a 9pm event which is 3am now if i did participate i would say i got to bed for about 4-4:30am just a shame i would have to be getting back up for wrk 30 mins later.
