OK, for months I have been investigating, researching and reloading the entire Asheron's Call franchise, including all the DECAL APPS and miscellaneous drivers.
LIFE TANK XI refused to register because it THOUGHT that the OCX was not present ... ( It is, it loads in WoW environment ) so mswinsck was inoperable.
Download these to fix it ... They are from Ascenture Software and they take care of all the problems with Visual Basic Support.
You might have to "regsrv32 /u mswinsck.ocx" from an elevated command prompt in the \windows\system32 folder and then re-register it "regsrv32 mswinsck.ocx" (Use CTL, SHIFT, ENTER on CMD.EXE in the Search window, and you will be administrator in the CMD window. There isn't any other way in Vista because the CMD process automatically debuffs you to a regular user even if you are ADMIN)
