I received an email from turbine last night saying they have found my old characters and will be able to migrate my account. I proceeded to make a new account with the CD key they emailed me. I log in today and there are 0 characters on the new account. Do I have to wait until monday for them to migrate it or am i too late?

you usually don't Make a new account with the cd key, you upgrade the old account.
yes you will have to wait till monday and talk to billing

That was from turbine on an email. *sigh*

ok then you wait till they migrate.
but the suspension of premiun services on 25 oct, which includes migration temporarily, MAY impact you.
It looks like they are already working on it, so I believe they will finish it.
The announcement implied, at least to me, that they will not take any new requests after the deadline, but that they will complete requests received before the deadline.
"Hi everyone, As of Friday October 24th at 5pm(EDT) Turbine will be temporarily suspending premium services for AC, DDO, and LOTRO. Any request received before Friday at 5pm will be processed, so if you have been wanting use our premium services you must do so before 5pm EDT this upcoming Friday."
