I'm gonna return to AC my long lost game from childhood :D I have spent my fair share on this game in the past, and I've been craving a "new" mmo but there was a problem. They all have horrible flaws, and are build around the solo's player experience. I miss looting every monster and actually paying attention to whats on it and owning houses. I miss having a patron and caring for vassles! <3
</rant>

I have a couple questions...

1.) my previous account has shown that i have an inactive subscription to AC:ToD but when i try to resubscribe it says it can't be recovered. I'm just wondering if my only option here is to buy the game again?

2.) is there any way to purchase the game electronically? I already downloaded the client off the main page. (it seems the "free trial" page is down for the past few days.)

3.) All I want to do is heed asheron's call but I don't think he can hear me with this super loud turbine going 24/7... true or false?

thanks!

Hallo Seir,

Atm it is not very clear how to activate accounts again. I have read of a few bugs, but not sure how to avoid them. Maybe you should contact Turbine by mail or phone to reactivate an old account.

As soon as you want to start with another subscription, you have to pay for the "new" game of course.

Normally you can subscribe in 2 ways:

1. downloading from the main page download (http://ac.turbine.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=77&Itemid=71&NavItemid=62)

2. the free trial (but seems to be out of order atm)

May I suggest to use the free trial (when possible)? After 14 days it will turn automatically into a normal account and from then you bank account will be charged.

Good luck to get into the game and much fun !

If you are getting the 40001 error, you have to call it in during the limited support hours or try to get it done via email.
