unable to patch...

im running vista no router. on dsl. I have mcafee anti virus.

I removed firewall and disabled anti virus still no go.

was this problem ever fixed? if so can I get the fix. seems i spent half the free trail waiting for a support email...

The problem was fixed in Vista SP2.

i think i have the same problem. tech support has yet to email me. i get a failure pop up saying that an error occured while patching and gives what seems like an error code. Any help would be fantastic.
I have a router though unlike this guy but i port forwarded the ports 9000-9013 like it said.
