So it has been a LONG time since I played AC.

I am looking to get into an active allegiance so any name dropping would be great. I played nothing but melee and/or archery before so starting as new as possible with a mage and the new island.

Hope to learn in game as much as possible so meeting up with players can not come soon enough.

In game name is Tamanous. Old allegiance back in the day was Paladins of Asheron but I believe they are not horribly active these days.

Even when I played last there were means to respec skills so I started with a play friendly mage build. Now I had better look up these quests again lol. Would hate to find out I am wasting time on a build that won't respec the way I thought it would.

And damn....can you ever make coin and xp in this game now. Completely different game from when I played last (played for about 3 years right from launch).

The Paladins of Asheron is a well known name, but I don't see them much around anymore.

Indeed you can change skills and attributes once you are level 25. So don't worry if you like to tweak something to your char later

Yes making exp and money is much easier then in the past. If you want, you can become lvl 50 in a week and money is all around. Please guys don't say you can be 50 in a day, I know. Just like to refer to the average player.

Well you CAN be lvl 50 in a day for you are right, for the average player with no power leveling help and such, 50 in a week is much more in-line. I came back about 2 weeks ago to AC after about 7 years away. I made a new account on Harvestgain, and my first day back I got picked up by an awesome allegiance, Athenians of Dereth. Anyways I got to 51 in a little over a week of somewhat casual playing, and then went from 51-104 in a day lol. But that was from getting super lvl'd, and being given like a million Colosium coins. Yes the game is VERY different than the one we left.......:)

I just came back to the game as well. I'm on SC or FF. I haven't decided on which yet. But to get to 50 in 1 day is able to be done. But it's a grind. Look me up on SC as Metamorpheus or on FF as Insanely Corrupt.
