Hi all,
If I recall correctly, I only started getting this problem after the August patch. I have 2 desktops and a laptop that I use to login to AC. They are all configured properly to allow simultaneous login (I have multiple accounts). I've had this setup with the proper router and port configurations working fine for many months... er... years now.
I've gotten the occational bubble-lagout (aka green-link lag) when I portal to a new area. But I think that is because of UDP traffic not always behaving properly with modern routers. Annoying, but I've lived with it. I usually wait 10 minutes and log back in to correct the glitch.
But since the latest patch, I've started getting characters stuck in portal space. It's happened when portaling around to different towns. So far I have only seen it happen on my XP desktop. (My other desktop is Vista SP2, as so is my laptop). The XP desktop does run Norton, which I haven't gotten around to replacing with AVG Pro. But it hasn't caused an issue before, and I thought Norton was only a problem on Vista + AC.
I am able to correct the problem by logging into the same account/character on one of the other PC's, which gets them unstuck. Definitely annoying.
Any ideas?
