missing sound

i dont have any ingame sound
i tried to turn it on/off but no luck
any help?

Double check your sound drivers in DirectX (Start > Run > Dxdiag > Sound (tab))

Aside from that try going into "My Documents" > "Asheron's Call" and renaming your "Userpreferences.ini" file (eg. olduserpreferences.ini) and relaunching to test.

After you turn it on, don't forget to hit the "Apply" button.
