Scavenger Hunt #3
DESCRIPTION
Below, I will post a clue to a location in Dereth. This could be a point of interest, a dungeon, an NPC, or anything else above or below ground. The first person to post the correct answer wins.

ANSWERS
Answers MUST include the following:
Character Name
Coordinates of Location (if applicable)
Name of Location (if applicable)
Description of Location (if coords/name are not available or are not descriptive enough)

Example:
An Adventurer
0.2N, 0.3E
Festival Stone of Midsong

If a page for the location exists on Asheron.info, you may post a link to that instead of the coords/name/description. If there is no page for it, feel free to create one - but this is not at all required.

There are no limits on the number of answers you can submit. The first person to post the correct answer wins.

CLUE
Long ago there was a story teller. He disappeared shortly after the end of one Emperor's reign, saying he would return some day. Today, one of his favorite foodstuffs can still be found at a certain location. Where is this location?

PRIZES
Prizes are to be determined upon the conclusion of the hunt, but will likely be Hero Tokens, MMDs, MFKs, or a combination of those.

Hunt #1 Prize: 50 MMDs, one 2-use MFK, and 1 hero token
Hunt #2 Prize: One 3-use MFK and 1 hero token

I think I have a lead, but not an outcome..

I reckon the Storyteller might be Yasif ibn Salayyar AKA The Poet

A quote here (http://asheron.info/~asheron/index.php/Zogblaster.com_-_A_Poet_Vanishes):

I was fourteen years old, and a scullion in the palace of the al-Nafalt, when Yasif ibn Salayyar went to Milantos. I had met him before – he had a fancy for sweets, and would come sometimes to the kitchen to snack on honeyed dates – but we had never spoken before then. It was not a servant’s place to talk with the royal emissary, after all.

What I have not been able to determine is what item is currently available that he liked, either from a vendor or a quest, or in the landscape.

Hopefully this might provide a lead for another to take the prize. I need to get back to work ;-)

14:01:21 [General] Mistral Tersicor says, "Mistral Tersicor; Pepper Jack Cheese: 43.4N, 82.3W - Hea Raider's Cache"

Posting on his behalf, as he cant get on the forum.

Ok, clicked..

http://asheron.info/~asheron/index.php/Pepper_Jack_Cheese

A wheel of spicy cheese, guaranteed to make your lips numb. This wondrous dairy product was a favorite of the Empyrean Talespinner Mistral Tersicor, who was fond of saying, "Cheese makes a gathering."

So i asked this person if they were from another server.. Seesm they were not, but gave me an item for An Adventurer.. (I have it for you),

and said.

14:14:23 Mistral Tersicor tells you, "Tell him ACGuy31/Septa Scarabae sends his regards."

Is now inactive, but subbed a trail account for the express purposes of answering the question ;-)

Correct Septa.

The end of emperor's reign in the clue was referring to the end of Caerlin I's reign and the beginning of his son, Caerlin II's reign. The answer to the fist part of the clue is from the mage armor quest:
You give Eaushi the Trainer Blue Orb.
Eaushi the Trainer tells you, "Ah. This bauble was created by the Imperial Talespinner Mistral Tersicor. For many years he wandered the world, recording the stories of all its' people."
Eaushi the Trainer tells you, "He disappeared from the palace at Tentael one cold night, just after Caerlin II had taken the throne. He left a note, saying that the songs of other worlds needed to be written, and that he would return in 2300 years."
Eaushi prods the orb gently. It blossoms, the blue surfaces spiraling open to reveal patches of green, brown, and white.
Eaushi the Trainer gives you Globe of Auberean.
Which would then lead you to Mistral Tersicor. And a quick search on the wiki would turn up the cheese and the answer to the clue. :)

I went through several different wordings of the clue. Each time a quick search of the wiki for the corect terms put the answer just 30 seconds away. Damn you wiki for being so thorough. So I eventually came to this clue, which seemed to be just right.

Special note: Taomagicdragon_SC actually solved this the same day I posted it and sent me the answer in PM. Congrats to Tao. I can't reward you though, unless you want some 6+ year old supplies from level 1-60 characters :p
