Spell Words – Having arc/bolt same words was a GOOD thing, it required people to figure out a dodge effective against both or people to use their brain and figure out a ‘pattern’ whether they’re going to do an arc or bolt.
BP Lure – This change doesn’t seem all too bad although I think it was better off before, archers needed a lift but melees didn’t. This change benefited both archers and melees. Perhaps you could just raise bow damage and give them an aegis-like item.
Stamina to Health – So you didn’t intend on having s2h 1 so powerful? Just because it wasn’t intended to be that way doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing, it was always a good thing. Making s2h 1 less effective means fights are slower and boring, this completely eliminates the close fighting style (mage vs mage) and mages fighting against the odds. Reducing the skill factor of PvP which I think you want.
Buffing – There is something wrong if people go AFK from a game for 3-10 minutes every hour, I bet 95% of the people over the level 100 use a 3rd party program to buff themselves. Either invent an in-game program to help buff or reduce the spells down a lot, people have suits up to 9ish pieces which ends up being around 110 spells. Having small piece suits isn’t really a burden since you’re not manually buffing, it just means you’ll go AFK for 8 minutes instead of 6 minutes. In my opinion I think 3rd party programs shouldn’t be so essential, as much as you like to say they’re not. There is a reason why 95% of the server would be running decal, I’m also sure that you notice the drastic population change when decal isn’t working after the patch.
Jumping – I think everyone will agree that jumping is very screwed up in AC. You get stuck on objects and rubbers banded back to your previous position also watching someone else jump you don’t see what happens. This probably requires a lot of coding but I definitely think it would make the game more enjoyable.
PK Lite – I’ve played this for about 30 minutes, in that 30 minutes I noticed after someone dies they can just type /pklite and continue attacking, this should be fixed. At least a 3 minute timer should be introduced into going PK Lite again.
Mansion/House Barriers – All Villa/Mansion barriers should be removed there has been endless amount of votes and they always won in favor of removing the barriers. You also proved that it could be DT only because last patch you did the ‘Town Crier’ event with 3x levels and 2 high quality items. This means you can make DT with independent rules so there will be no problem with white servers.
Fighting for something – If you don’t remove mansion/barriers even if you do I still suggest you make something to fight over! Example: You make a town with 100% sell rate, sells plats for 44k, a little dungeon with a spawn of some nice loot monsters and preferably indoors + PK only!
Unattended Combat Macroing – I think this is a case where you should do one extreme or the other. Allow it or be VERY strict on it. You could allow it then DTers would have to kill the macros and put the situation in their own hands, PKs still have the risk of losing their stuff at the LS + 40 VP. If you’re going to be against UCM you should at least enforce it more, more admins, detect people if they’ve been in-game for a long period of time and permanent ban first offence. Right now people are semi-worried about being reported + losing their items.
Potions – I don’t think they’re much overpowered, they’re high burden and a hassle to make/get.
Gems/Awakener – I say allow gem and awakeners after 20 seconds of NOT being attacked, PvP is real dull when it’s a bunch of people dispelling the whole time.
Server Upgrade – Another one people wont disagree on, the server needs to be upgraded the lag currently is virtually unplayable in some areas. Such lag should be unacceptable and people have tolerated it for too long.
I think you introduced too many new changes this patch, maybe one at a time it would’ve been ok, but all 3 MAJOR changes in the one patch is too extreme. I didn’t mention any major changes which could be harmful; I mentioned everything I think would be a positive to AC.
