Delay/Fast/Slide Casting - The How To

I consider myself a novice at fast and slide casting. I have no idea how to delay cast either. Would anyone be willing to post a simple guide as to how to do these things properly. For my wn knowledge and so that the post can be used as reference.

Oh, for christs sake, how about you experiment a little by yourself? The basic concept should be clear by now. Do you go on any quests that you don't have a full walkthrough?

i dont quest for one. only time i do one of those is to get an item, sorry im not an O.o

on top of that i have been trying and i cant seem to be able to master it ad was asking for help, if you dont wanna help me then fine get lost

one easy way is to just not let your character point/look at the target - hit turn left/right to delay the release of the spell. IF you face them directly you'll let go of the spell - this can also happen if your facing directly away from them - if you line up backwards to them like you were facing them you can also let go of the spell.
