Issues with Old CD Keys.

I have an old version of Asheron's Call, and the original case. When I try to logon to buy a subscription, I put that key in, and I get a message "that cd key is invalid". do the CARAC keys not work anymore?

I was thinking maybe the key was just not working, so I went ahead and bought a new key... Well, see the thread below about that.

So, I now have 3 keys. One works. yay.

You can only use a CD-Key once. If you used your old CD-Key on a previous account, you need to reactivate that account to continue to use that CD-Key.

Yah, it's the same account. I was using it like 8 months ago, and stopped for a break. I'm really confused as to why it won't work now.

For clarification, I had:

Account 1@hotmail.com then had AC code used for it.
Account 2@hotmail.com then had the ACDM code for that one.

I bought that 3rd and tried it where the AC one failed, and nothing. :(

You could try contacting Zone Support to make sure all your account information is correct. It can be tedious, but eventually you'll get some real help.

Though you should be able to re-subscribe using an old account.

You have to restart billing rather than buying a subscription. Go to the purchase history link rather than the buy link. From there you can update your billing information and anything with a **** has to be updated to restart billing.

Well, I'd like to say that's right, but that didn't work either. I click the purchase history link, and it brings me to a "Subscriptions" Game: Asheron's Call Dark Majesty [Submit] [Exit] screen. I click submit, and I see this:

XXXXXXXXXXX:You have no current subscriptions to Asheron`s Call Dark Majesty.

You need to get a subscription to play Asheron`s Call Dark Majesty. (You must be over 18 years old or have parent or guardian permission before you buy.)

All subscription prices are shown in US dollars and do not include local connection and telephone charges which may be applicable to you. If you have to pay tax on the subscription, we'll show you the amount of tax and the total subscription cost before you OK the purchase. Payment is by credit card only. ... etc

I click the link for "Monthly Subscription" and it brings me to:

In order to receive your subscription to Asheron`s Call Dark Majesty, please enter your Subscription Coupon Number. You will find this number on the back of the game's CD jewel case. ...

I type in my old #, and it responds with: The Subscription Coupon Number you entered is not valid.

I dunno. This is so god damned frustrating.

Just clik 'Buy Subscription'

If you have a purchase history, DO NOT clik the 'Redeem Coupon' link.

Just 'Buy Subscription' enter the CC info and submit, that is all.

I have tried that. I STILL get prompted for a CD Key.

Thanks for all the thoughts. I promise you all, if there's a way in the subscription window to get to billing information then to purchase a subscription, then I can't get to it because it's blocked by the need for the CD Key.

I think Tara was right. I need to just talk to MSN.

Are you one hundred percent sure it was the account you used before? If you are, then yeah, just talk to Zone Billing Support.
