Getting restarted?

Hiya,

After trying to find a better alternative (and failing!) have decided to restart AC.

Have checked out a couple of other threads which have answered a couple of my questions, but wanted to check how long my update download is likely to take since I haven't played in well over a year.

Any help/pointers for getting restarted much appreciated. Very keen to get back into the game now but need to find the answer to this question first!!

For the billing issue, I suggest you check this here =>

And for the client update, there's on the AC connect page a "Download" link with a patch (about 80Mo) to update your client to the january patch I think so little download after that.

Maybe it's also possible to download the latest client from FilePlanet without buying any new key :)

Am in the process of trying to get it all sorted - as you said am hoping not to have to buy a new CD Key. Have emailed msn zone so eagerly await a response from them!!

the download should go pretty quickly auctually....it took me maybe 1 minute-2 minutes to dl everything for the past 7-8 months

What kind of a connection was that on?!

I looked at fileplanet and it said to download the full update patch was about 80MB, which would take me days on my ISDN.

BF is going to d/l it at work as they've got satellite and reckons it should take an hour.

Or did you literally just install the game and dive on in?
