NOT EVERY ARCHER KNOWS THIS EXPLOIT AND IF YOU FIND YOURSELF THE VICTIM...go to an open area where they can't do it, but for crying out loud people act like this is the only thing archers do, I've heard it mentioned on this board enough, and only have seen a person do it twice, and I hunt PKs at the outposts...easiest place to do it.

So next time when you open your mouth to complain, remember only a small minority of archers abuse this trick, and don't say that it balances pvp for archers or makes them overpowered, because its an exploit, and you have to have specific conditions, unlike SPAM/DELAY/FAST (animation break) casts.

That being said...I hope everyone gets to read this because I'm tired of it even being considered a factor in PvP

I must agree. That's just laughable for people to consider an exploit part of balance *ehem* SPIN JUMP.

Machine Gun bow sucks because they need a wall to do it. So you can just shoot an arc or bolt at them at close range and nearly kill them while dodging of course.

"machine gun" is not the exploit shooting but it means shooting arrows on the fastest setting as an archer.


Your gonna have to think of another name for the archer wall bug. Even though its the same bug that mages can use with harms etc.

All bugs/expliots should be fixed no matter how dependant Pks are on them.

Yeah have Turbine fix fastcasting and slidecasting so mages will have no chance in pk and pk will be ruined. Yeah hext you sure are making the game better......... in your dreams.

If you have to exploit graphics to get ahead in the game then that's not skill, that's cheating.

Bloop...Wrong Machine gun is the wall trick. Shooting on lowest accuracy is shooting on lowest accuracy, and there is a fix! its called missile defense...I don't expect to evade you on speed even with melee defense, and I don't expect to resist a a war even with magic defense, but you sure can dodge up to half bar, even against the the most powerful archers and 10/10 starting stats, all with the lovely overpowered mmissile defense

I'm not calling slidecast an exploit...its necessary, fastcast annoys me but its not bad either, what kills me is

1.Wand monkiers fastcasting
2.God moding stamina or health
3.Overpowered StH MtH
4.Delay cast
5.Jump cast (You may not have seen it but it exists)
6.Jump Spin exploits
7.Kneel strafe
8.Overpowered 10/10 Missile Defense
9.Overpowered Speed attacks
10. Attunated Awakeners

In comparision Machine gun is almost benign because of number 8

Without it mages would hardly ever kill anything. And mage pk would die. only reason you are saying this is because you can't do it or cant defend against it. And this also shows your ignorance about pk and the game itself. Pwned by Roc :o

1) One is easy to dodge because the bolts come out like 5 secs later when they jump.
2) How does this kill you? Its not even that serious lol my God.
3) Its not overpowered because it helps in PvM too. If you change it, it kills a mages chance of healing in dangerous last minute situations.
4) .......... lol come on Azul :P
5) Its hard to do. I can do it sometimes but it blows.
6) Again how does this kill you? Its a way of escape in hella situations.

1) Actually doesn't work like that if you're using weeping, the spell is fast and tracks like a streak with the damage of a war.
2) I'm an archer I can't kill a mage who obviously is losing the fight but sliding away chugging.
3) When they go from 30 to full health its sorta lame.
4) C'mon? I can't shoot 2 200 damage arrows in a row...mages shouldn't either :p
5) You're right its not that good, but I've seen it in combination with jumping on roofs, and thats annoying.
6) They put jumpspin proofing in because it was too easy to escape...shouldn't be allowed to negate that by clicking ~. God mode stamina rations! lol.
7) Kneel strafe is kneeling and strafing to regain stamina to run...if they fix the other 2 I won't mind this at all, at least someone can catch you.
8) Way to dodge all the arrows unless they are fired 1/2 or more accuracy. :rolleyes:
9) Angry at melees for getting archers nerfed (*sarcasm* Melees are overpowered! NERF THOSE ARCHERS TOO!)
10) You should have creature spec'd to use awakener, just my personal opinion...although I use it.

The Attuned awakener is not as great as the regular but the unspec critter use implies that.

Roc you said a few dumb things there. Notably that there is nothing serious about god moding health and stamina elixirs. Why do you think people have a problem with spin jump? Because people get away? No, anyone can get away from any other char, so no one minds that.

Maybe it just has something to do with the fact that people use it to just hop away from a melee whenever they feel like it and use the extra distance they have to god mode their health, stamina, and then mana back to full before they jump back in on the melee?

I suppose that's fair?

I don't think theres anything wrong with the fact that mages can do lots of animation breaks that allow them to work differently, as none of them are truly at the level of "exploit" anymore, but I do think it's unfair that melees and archers only have pressing the attack button.

As for the weeping wand having a level 7 war on it, well, I think that's just retarded. Mages can cast them already, and the wands are really for them. You shouldn't be able to go shooting off a level 7 war on a melee equipping a mage's weapon, especially while using no spell words. I can't count the number of times people have walked up behind me and just shot me with one while I was fighting someone else. And honestly, my sword doesn't get some attack that does 110-180 damage if I use some of it's mana, so why does the wand?

And slide casting isn't much of an "exploit" seeing as they could stop it altogether if they wanted with a tiny casting radius. See how it is INTENDED?
