View Full Version : Why exactly do projectiles go through monsters?

Some spells, like walls, rings, volleys, and blasts, either require no target or can hit something that wasn't targeted initially. Projectils that strike walls or trees or rocks are stopped. Obviously, the game is capable of keeping wars from flying past a wall of monsters trapping a melee, so why is it that this is possible? It makes fighting in dungeons almost impossible.

often wondered that myself.
actually it was along the lines of "if it were so..." you could trick a mage into slamming his own fellow member with a war.
I used to get nailed all the time by various fellow members while raiding back before the devs made that slight change to the pathing of projectiles. Heh, in Baishi, I was killed by a fellow member because the defenders were using the same element as we were while raiding.

It'd be kind of funny if it was that way now, seeing as you can get into a 50+ person fight just by getting your guild together and hitting the bobo drop.

Seriously, I want an answer. I was killed twice today because of it even AFTER posting this thread.
