alchemy problem

I have a new one I think. I tried making the new dispell potions and was failing on the last step. I decided I needed to spec alchemy and went to the temple and did so. Now I cannot do any alchemy task. I always get "Your Craft Attempt Failed". No components are used up. When I turn on the confirmation display, it says I have a 97% chance, then still always fails. This all worked prior to specing alchemy. Character name "Drake's Tinker, on leafcull.
