UA fighter for PvP?

The type of character I play is a UA fighter. Will UA be good for PvP or do mages and archers make the best PvP characters?

ua's r good in group combat to chase down runners

solo vs a mage you have no chance
archers r horrible for pvp.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info. Any one got any tips for a UA to put up the best fight possible against a mage?

To make a mage fighting ua (i have a sword guy who is made to kill mages)

Then i would start with high focus self and 100 str
Spec magic d ,life,ua the rest doesnt matter
And get a ageis shield. THEN youll need to lvl up to 126++++

You dont need 100 cord i would lower cord to 50 after you leveled up enough with ua and put into focus/self for higher magics/resist


But really youll have a really hard time vs mages unless your a sword or mage yourself for solo fighting.

Thanks! Thats some good advice about the focus and self. I didn't think of making those high to resist spell casting.

even with maxed out specd resist
its still all JUST to have a small chance to kill a mage

Its pretty crappy that the game has come to this bs template for "melees" who just want to be able to have a 20% chance to kill a mage.

Or you dont need to spec magic d and life and go all out with melee skills specd and youll be good in Group fights chasing down people finishing them off but solo will be horrible.

UA is a skill that has low damage, but because of it has a low skill credit cost.

WIth UA you cna easily switch weapons, carry mutliple weapons. IMO to be an effective one, once you get your 230 quickness you are set, so work on specing Magic defence, maybe even life or war. For PvP UA works well as a duel skill, don't expect a ua/melee def spec template to fare very well.
