The story is coming along very nicely. I didn't even expect the Renegade/Burun twist. Great work and great screen shots. This patch will set some unclear parts of the story arc in motion I think.

Hendac pushed a small leather scrollcase toward the High Queen. She reached across and took the case up. It was too large to be made by Isparians and the leather was tanned to be softer. It bore a resemblance to the hunting bags carried by the Tonk of Marae Lassel. Elysa recalled seeing the bags only recently; hunters from Marae Lassel had asked to hunt on Dereth and issue challenges to the Ispar tribe. They had set up a few camps across Osteth, and even near Ayan Baqur.

Scroll Cases...looks as though we might be getting more than salvage bags this month. I have to say that will be a welcome change if it comes to pass.

You almost have a fire lit under my butt like you did with the olthoi invasion. Shoushi is my hometown and i really really wanna come trash burron thingies for the first time. But i wanna wait to see how the item spells get implemented in june.

I like how you talk about isparians killing lugians still. The poor lugians went and built a dungeon in the direlands and i guess im one of the isparians who tracked them down and killed them there also. (im talking about the desert citadel)

My take on the missing gaurd from Candeth's Keep is that he was a traiter and part of the renegades and learned how to build cool allegience walls and other info and then told the renegades how to build a good fort.

what towns were getting make-overs for may i forget...

I hope the burron move north and take over the whole dryreach area and add some new non quest dungeons out there. That huge plain north of shoushi and hebien is desperately needing some love.

I bet the burron crush any renegade envoys who come to try and make an allegiance with them. I thought it was odd they were wielding virindi sickles??

I cant wait to see what turbine does to the Vesayen Islands. I've spent alittle time on those islands hunting idol gems when i was a newb but it never had anything to keep me there...

Well, guess I could stick to levelling my baby mage down in the dungeons until the month is over.

Well, as usual, let's see what it brings, town invasions are both a pain and fun. A pain when your mules die repeatedly at their lifeston, fun when you get to do some street fighting.

I guess we'll see mages and arches perched on the roof tops.

Now If 'Deception love' was added properly, we'd have disguise kits, temporary name changing effects, pick pocketing and... oh wait that was 'old school' Ultima Online ;P
( but I did like those features of that game )
I wish we could introduce a 'grief free' version of picking a pocket.
Perhaps, in a future time in game, we could see it?
I could understand rival guilds picking each other's pockets in a town. I would like to see the ability to disguise 'faction'
reviving the Vagabond! Think about this; A vagabond with the ability to disguise themselves ( after finding the proper items ) to look like a certain type of critter. The Vagabond could slip into an area, and open doors turn levers and other things in a party.

It would bring into the game one area that is lacking. SUre we have open lock, but, your 'thiefly' character-types cannot fully fall into a role of just opening locks.
As long as the skills are balanced and even 80% grief free, I would love to see more rogue type skills in game.

I have been 'out of game' for a couple months, Just got back in, and so far I get this impression from the Bunrun invasion:

***Renegade-like view***

These beings are fleeing certain death from thier home world.
They only attack if you get too close, and if you 'leave their area' they return back to thier huts in some cases. I think Elysa is confused and upset, on the defense from her rescent attack, now the story from a mosswart, telling of an attack has her worried.
Hmm... could it be the Bunrun should be the ones we are allying with? Perhaps the Renegades are the smart ones here. Perhaps I should join them, instead of blindly following this self apointed high queen.. I know I didnt 'vote' for her.. oh wait, thats right you don't vote for royalty.

***Other side of the coin***
This is all a plot! I knew it soon as I recovered a certain tome for that evil witch... Sure Numudira said she needed it for destroying a Queen... but which one?
Now these bloody Falacot are bringing in more walking dead things, and also other horrid beasts! Yes, thats it, Numudira is in league with this invasion, thats why the renegades are heading out to the swamps! She spoke of making a school, students, of a like mind. Perhaps this is what she meant?

Yeah so get this, here I was mindin' my own business, lookin for undead ya know what I mean? Then, The boss starts up about a cult, so sure we go off and invesitgate, and whaddaya know, a bunch of our folk are bein' swayed into following Bhael Zharion. Not sure thats such a horrible notion really, I mean look, I have to shrug off Asheron's protections every time I get a 'job' which isnt taking out an undead right? Well maybe becoming more stealthy and shadow like isnt such a bad Idea.. I mean what would I have to lose right?
Sure, the 'heads' of our order talk about Honor and junk like that, but, I joined up because... well... lets not get into that.

Just then,across the room, someone begins shouting about Numudira. They sounded like a fanatic. Ghetteran turns back to the table just at the Zharalim starts talking.
"So, you don't see what would be so wrong about following a force of evil in this world? I pity, and with that, I must be leaving, I want to see these Bunrun for my self.."
Ghetteran turns to the tonk and shakes his head smiling, " No thanks friend, i have already eaten today, and never did like wharu grubs, even if they do taste like chittick."
Ghetteran ducks the rock, as he heads out of the Inn, and into the swamps.
Before him he witnesses the conflict between Mosswart and bunrun, they appear to be in conflict true, but it seems to be no more than between them.. except the mosswarts now seek out thier 'enemies' to aid them.. unusual.
Just then the sounds of brush crunching alerts Ghetteran to something approaching.
Odd looking human, in Pink and neon green armor.
Ghetteran waves and greets the stranger, " Hello"
after a very strange conversation, mainly one sided, Ghetteran wanders off, leaving the d00d in peace.

Okay, so maybe my thoughts dont amount to much, but it was fun writing this silly scenario :P

Scroll cases would be a welcome addition. Just hope it isn't a forced grouping quest.

A "scroll case" does not necessarily refer to a new storage item for spell-scrolls. A scroll case is also the equivalent of a modern day mail-carrier's bag. Missives were often written on rolled up pieces of parchment (scrolls) and then laid inside of bags or wooden tubes, which were called--scroll cases.

The scroll case in the story seems to be refering to a container for messages. While it MAY be Turbine's subtle hint that they have finally worked out a way for us to have a new container for holding our spell scrolls (which they HAVE said they are working on), dont get your hopes up or read too much into it :-)

I hope it DOES turn out to be a new sorting container for spell scrolls though :D
