Most interesting Reading and I will wait to see what comes of it month to month :)
To all those who say another Shadow uprising I fear we are not going to see that nor a BZ thing this is pretty deep and I like it should be a good year in AC :)

Quite an interesting read... So it appears the burun are destined to join with the renegade lugians, tumeroks, and virindi...

not sure the dead lugian inside the burun burrow would agree about his destiny to fight alongside the burun ;)
any chance in learning the difference between ruuk and ac2's ruruk? browerk was spelled the same, and im looking forward to seeing some of them come through.
but can keerik get their fannies through the portals?

Very little of that made sense to me. What lore did I need to read for that to advance the storyline at all for me?

These are MUCH better than the Falatacot Epic Riddles from last month's Translator quest. Those weren't worth trying to decipher. Thanks for making the Burun more interesting than the Gotrok and Renegade Tummies. Let's see the story progress a little faster, though, please. We already know where the story is, in general, going, so it'd be more interesting if we could get a twist or have it sped up a little.
I keep thinking it seems as if the patches are getting lighter. :(

I felt like it belonged in the "Mushroom Samba" episode of Cowboy Bebop - have you seen it? I really felt like it belonged in it.

I thought it was a very good read, if I don't understand it since I haven't been able to play AC in a while due to my being at school.

the only thing im not clear about is were the empyrean fit in with the burun, is the burun on another world, on another part of greater osteth or what?
however the story line of burun society is awsome. i havent been as interested in a species since the dark elves of forgotten realms.
the burun in question seem to be the lower classes that were once the rulers buy what ive read, and it seems that from what has ben happeng with the first ones that crossed to dereth that there going to ally themselves with the rengade lugians and tumeroks. but if there goal is to lay waste to all there is, then by alling with the renegades still would not acheive that, but only acheive at best the renegades eventual rule. and since us isparians pay to walk on the world of dereth , im willing to bet that aint gonna happen. interesting society, wonder where it will lead.

Kudos to the author.
When all this is over we'll be cowering in caves again, this time without olthoi slavemasters. But how we get from here to the shelters of AC2 is anyone's guess.

The Fifth Sending that kicks off the buildup to AC2 won't happen for roughly 100 years, so I wouldn't worry about putting down payments on shelter space just yet.

Good read. I thought the Burun were pretty cool in AC2 (say what you want about AC2, but Burun Beach was a blast), it's nice to see some solid background about their race. Unfortunately, this story only raises more questions. :) I'm definitely looking forward to how this story pans out.
