A Forced Break

I hate to be in this position but as many of you know I recently moved to North Carolina to participate in some further training for my job. I am staying in an apartment provided by my employer with DSL that is also provided by my employer. This DSL connection does not work with AC.

I have talked to Turbine customer support and without having the ISP change the modem from NAPT mode to NAT (which I have no authority to do) it will not allow me to log into AC.

This presents a number of problems...

1. Monthly subscriptions. Since I will be in NC for 3 months there is no point in paying for 2 active accounts that I cannot access. So I will most likely be canceling both accounts.

2. Villa payments. If I had known before hand that I would be unable to play I would have cleared out my villas and stored all my equipment on mules so that if I lost my villas it wouldn't be that big of a deal. However, my villas are full of all kinds of stuff that would be devastating to lose (I store all my weapons for active toons in one of my chests for example). Also, I maintain a 3rd villa that is owned by an inactive account. It would suck to have to resub the account just to buy the villa back. It would be awesome if I could convince someone to pay for the villas for the 3 months I was gone and I could repay them when I return in late Nov.

I knew you were moving to work on your job training but was unaware that you needed help on your villas. I know I speak for Honor Knight and my clan both! If I had your coords for your villas I would be very happy to help keep them up till you can come back Shai! We all love you and miss you on the server.
