Re: Letter From the Producer!

Crowley, i do look forward to your project on "Thanks for all those Mites".

do we need towels? they do need more color variety.
anyway, thanks for your time with AC.

Hmm, wedding? it been awhile since we had "new" dress and suits for special occasion. maybe hopefully not too modern style but maybe medieval fashion during Henry the 8th/ Elizabethain era.

yeah, i knew it would be matter of time or when we will be playing creatures since Ac2. hopefully not too limited choices.
let not forget those remaining isparians still missing on derethian islands have yet to appear.
those are big task to do, regarding names of armors and heritage weapons.

AC still got hope and fire to keep it going.

who is Hoshino?

From the time he joined the team in 2006, Rob has broadened what the AC team considered possible within our limited resources. He's been not only an outstanding engineer, but also an energetic and creative voice in design discussions. I know you all are already wowed by the stuff he laid out in his Producer's Letter, and let me tell you that he's been wowing the rest of us for three years. He and the AC team, with their passion, vision, and work ethic, made my job easy. All I had to do was organize schedules.

Rob's going to be a great Producer for Asheron's Call. Good luck to him and the rest of the team.
Crowley thank you for all you have done and you will defintely be missed and I wish you all the best... you deserve it .

Congratulations to Sev as I can't see anyone more fitting to carry the torch forward from Crowley...great read on your first letter and I'm looking forward to the coming months .

Re: Letter From the Producer!

Okay this is all good stuff but we need more of what makes the game great and some other fixes: epic quests, things to fight for, long term goals, PK lever/xp dungeons, a new PK server, new islands, random boss creature spawns in towns, new dungeons, more solo quest challenges, solo options for colo, fix level 8 spells, fix naming on level 7 spells, fix/change the aug quest, upgrade the OP, etc.

Re: Letter From the Producer!

Congrats, Sev!

While you're looking through the animations and models to make joints mesh better, I'd encourage you to take a look at other joints as well, particularly the waist.

When you mix and match armor types, you can get things that, texture-wise, look quite nice, but with models that are off center and often look horrible. A good example is Nariyid breastplates with Celdon girths. I've got a suit I'm quite fond of, but the breastplate is significantly smaller, and is shifted forward and left of the center of the girth. It looks very awkward and irks me quite a bit.

Re: Letter From the Producer!

If Sev is going to be the producer.... who's going to be doing the engineering!?

Or.... did I just volunteer myself to do that >.<

Re: Letter From the Producer!

Huge congrats to Severlin on the new position, and thanks to Crowley for all the hard work in the past! This is a great first Letter from the Producer, and I can't wait to see some stuff implemented. New playable race? Sign me up! The addition of anti-aliasing is going to be appreciated by many with decent PCs as well. It's nice to see minor things being tackled also, such as the animations and new hairstyles. Couldn't be more excited for the future of AC

Been chanting for 6 years, I think the chant is working. Maybe I'll add a rain dance to it and see if the weather comes back to Dereth. Farmer Kao's Crops can't be doing well with this drought we have had for so many years.
