Triple log post lock WHY..?

With out Triple log on different accounts at the same time... i sure most people will close there accounts and there will be no Buff bots or Trade bots in game So Turbine will loose lots of money... i know i would close all 3 of my accounts if i can't duel log...This is Asheron's call forum so we should beable to talk about it... unless Duel logging on Different account The Dev's Don't like i guest

I just read the COC again like 30 times threw out the years and it don't say Turbine does not allow discussion of Third Party Applications......unless i need Glasses..so u could talk about it i guest lol... shrug

the 'locked' thread would suggest that someone in authority doesn't agree with your assesment and for the moment THEIR interpetation rules. Try IGN utilities boards for 3rd party discussions.

In order to triple-log it means that it's unlikely that all three would be "attended" (unless you have a wide monitor, lower the resolutions of the client, and space them out so you can see them at all times) thus being prone to UCM which is against the CoC if you want an even more precise reason than the no tpa thing.

I triple and quad-log, but in all of those instances I'm either muling/crafting/tinkering OR running the Colosseum mini-bosses.

Not everyone runs multiple clients for muling purposes, especially those running 3+ accounts at once. On SC it's not unheard of for people to hunt/quest with multiple accounts logged on. So long as they can pass a UCM test (and many times it's clear they can) then that's perfectly fine, but many people do UCM with multiple accounts on a few servers.

Not saying every dual-logger is UCM, because that's silly.

I have 2 accounts and I don't use dual log or any other TPA. I play the game just fine w/o them. Give it a try, go TPa-free, you might like it......

I know many multi-account holders who use 1 to play and the other to bot.

When I say bot, I specifically mean as a Portal Bot, Buff Bot, Trade Bot, or Tinker Bot. The character never leaves Marketplace/Holtburg (except for their eater jaw run so they can keep the Bellas portal).

To me, the biggest benefit of multi-log is the ability to mule much faster than using chests at the bottom of a Villa (door, door, door, Portal, door, Chest + hundreds of 'pick up' animations).

By Hotkeying 'give to selected' and using mules, I can transfer packs of salvage and 100's of items in a couple minutes without nearly as much tedium. And by running Sort It, it can all be arranged perfectly as well.

Suggesting UCM is the main reason for triple logging is a large jump to a conclusion.

Never claimed it was the main reason, only that a lot of people do it and would be grounds for the thread getting locked.

You can use dual log without Decal so how would that be associated with UCM? I do it all the time. I've seen 12 accounts logged on the same computer at the same time before. Crazy but it is possible.
